Under Volunteer Opportunities
No matter what you seek in volunteering, we’ve got an opportunity that’s right for you!

1. Volunteer in our Flagship Store on Castro Street
   
   If you like the idea of interacting with the public in a customer service function in the City’s lively Castro district, check out these volunteer opportunities.  We’ve got 3 volunteer shifts a day, 7 days a week (10am-2pm, 2pm-5pm and 5pm-9pm) and three different volunteer positions (Greeter, Sales Associate and Cashier).   There is always a store manager present and our administrative offices are located right in the store.  We conduct orientation and “on the job training” several times a week, so you can be volunteering in just a couple of days.  
                         

2. Special Events and Other Opportunities
   
   Don’t like interacting with the public?  Prefer a desk job or one time event opportunity?  Under One Roof volunteers have many opportunities to work in collaboration with staff and the Special Events Committee to produce and participate in fun and profitable fundraising events, or to join a committee supporting the organization’s many needs in marketing, merchandising, finance and more.
