Tony
Hart, Founder and Chief Strategic
Officer of StrataScape Consulting, LTD, is recognized as a Strategic
Planning leader to Fortune 1000 companies with expertise in online
consumer experience marketing (CEM), CRM, and online community
development in conjunction with social networking; and through
traditional and digital direct-to-consumer marketing
Tony
has recently consulted with
Shutterfly, RockYou Games, HP’s Snapfish Division,
Guthy-Renker
and Kaiser. Previously, he was the Vice President of
Community
Experience Management and eCommerce for Electronic Arts (EA).
Prior to joining EA, he was Vice President of Enterprise Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) for Best Buy, and as Executive Strategist
at Accenture. Tony has also served in direct-to-consumer
marketing leadership roles with the WPP Group, plc, Avon Products,
Inc., Fingerhut Corporation and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
In
support of community and giving, he
has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Mid-Atlantic
Arthritis Foundation and led a highly successful annual giving
campaign, Executive Chairman of annual United Way campaign at Anthem
Blue Cross Blue Shield of VA, and is currently supporting Under One
Roof in San Francisco in its fundraising efforts for HIV/AIDS agencies.
Tony
is a father of an adult daughter
named Taylar, who works for JP Morgan in New York, and he is married to
R. Cody Hart and they live in the Outer Mission neighborhood of San
Francisco. Tony is an avid cook with a specialty for Cajun
and
Creole cuisine.
Mr.
Hart earned an MBA from the A.B.
Freeman School of Business at Tulane University with emphasis in
Marketing and Management Science, and a B.A. from Monmouth College in
Business Administration and Government.
Jim
Vestal
Treasurer
Jim Vestal has served as Treasurer of Under One Roof since March 2011.
He has a PhD in economics from the University of
Michigan and worked for 15 years in financial markets and academia in
Japan before returning as a consultant to San Francisco in 1999. In
addition to the decades in Asia, Jim has also
lived in Argentina and is fluent in both Japanese and Spanish. He
joined Under One Roof because he strongly supports its goal of funding
AIDS and HIV-related charities.
Brian
Hooper
Board Member
Brian joined Under One Roof in June of 2007. Brian's passion for
serving the community was ignited over 20 years ago first working with
DIFFA on their annual fundraiser and has since participated and
sponsored fundraising for children's hospitals, chronic illness, to
organizations who help the less fortunate. Brian currently lives in New
York City, is from the Washington, D.C. metro area, and lived most of
his adult life in San Francisco. Brian received his B.F.A. from
Virginia Commonwealth University. Brian has over 14 years of diverse
retail experience ranging from managing an individual store to managing
inventory for 1000 stores in positions with Gap, Inc. and Ann Taylor.
Maurice
Kelly
Board Member
Maurice joined the board of Under One Roof in January, 2012. A native
of San Francisco, Maurice’s roots run deep in the local
community. He has been an active organizer, fundraiser and volunteer
since his student days at Lowell High School. Most recently Maurice
chaired the AIDS Action Group Community Involvement Team at Levi
Strauss Co. where he led the company’s employee volunteer and
fundraising efforts on behalf of numerous ASOs and community partners.
Maurice received his BA from Harvard, and has over 20 years of
managerial experience in new business development, strategic planning,
marketing and sales.
Jennifer
Kutz
Board Member
Jennifer joined the board in January 2011, and helps drive the
marketing and public relations efforts for the organization. By day she
is an account manager at LEWIS PR San Francisco where she provides
media relations and social media services for technology companies.
Jennifer also has several years of experience in the retail industry,
having worked for companies like Gymboree and Sunglass Hut, among
others. Besides Under One Roof, Jennifer's volunteer experience also
includes stints as a youth basketball coach at the Jewish Community
Center of San Francisco. She graduated from San Francisco State
University with a BA in Liberal Studies.
Marcie
Low
Board Member
Marcie joined the Under One Roof Board of Directors in January of 2007.
Marcie is a Bay Area native, born and raised in Berkeley. She went to B
erkeley High School and UC Davis, where she graduated with a BS in
Managerial Economics. Marcie has over 18 years of experience working in
Human Resources in the high tech industry. She currently consults with
multiple companies, providing HR and operational support services.
Marcie serves on the Governance Committee. One of her major roles is to
steward potential new board members.
Ted
McNichol
Board Member
Ted joined the Board of Directors in January of 2011. He brings 20-plus
years of engineering and sales and marketing experience. A Boston
native, Ted has lived in San Francisco's Castro for more than 20 years.
His dual BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences moved him
from the Silicon Valley of the East, Route 128 in Boston, to Silicon
Valley, CA., where he most recently was Account Manager for Accenture
at ORACLE. He
has also been a huge supporter and shopper at Under One Roof since its
inception; his dog Lila assists in this capacity.
Jerry
Mitchell
Board Member
Jerry was elected to the Board of Under One Roof in the fall of 2004.
Within a few months of his election, Jerry became secretary of the
organization, serving in this capacity until September, 2010, when he
was elected board chairman.
A resident of Kentfield in Marin County, Jerry is a global travel
marketing manager at American Express, where he has worked for 24 years
in numerous capacities. In addition to his role at American Express and
Under One Roof, Jerry supports the NorCal AIDS Cycle, a
Sacramento-based non-profit that raises funds and awareness for
HIV/AIDS services through a four day, 330 mile bicycle event each May.
Under One Roof benefits from this annual event, so participation in it
is a natural fit – Go

Neil Perry
Board Member
Neil was elected to the Under One Roof Board of Directors August of
2010. Neil Perry is a litigation associate at Morrison Foerster, where
he is a member of the firm's Employment and Labor and Securities
Litigation and White-Collar Defense Practice Groups. Neil earned his BA
From the
University of California, Irvine and his JD, magna cum laude, from the
University of California, Hastings College of Law.
