UNDER ONE ROOF EXPANDS BOARD, ELECTS NEW CHAIRMAN AND ADDS TO EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

 

Fortune 1000 strategic planner to helm growing board of 21-year-old San Francisco AIDS/HIV charity

 

March 5, 2012 - San Francisco, CA –Under One Roof (www.underoneroof.org), the first charity retail organization to benefit the AIDS & HIV community, is announcing that it has elected prominent strategic planner Tony Hart as its new chairman of the board, in addition to filling two additional executive committee positions. Joining Tony on the committee is entrepreneur and experienced LGBT community leader Troy Coalman in the vice chair position, board member Kathy Culwell, who has moved into the position of secretary, and Jim Vestal in his continued role as treasurer.

Tony is founder and chief strategic officer of StrataScape Consulting, where he has worked with Fortune 1000 companies like HP and Kaiser Permanente on a variety of digital marketing and online community management initiatives. He previously served as a vice president for both Electronic Arts (EA) and Best Buy. Tony’s non-profit work includes serving on the board of directors for the Mid-Atlantic Arthritis Foundation and as executive chairman of the annual United Way campaign at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of VA.

 At Under One Roof Tony will be focused on examining and shaping the organization’s future to ensure it continues to deliver the maximum amount of unrestricted funds to its 22 San Francisco AIDS and HIV charities.

 Troy is founder and creative director of SFA Creative, a full-service integrated advertising agency that helps companies with all aspects of communications including branding, social media, public relations and more. Troy holds deep connections within San Francisco’s LGBT community through his work as director of external relations and associate director of development for SF Pride, as well as development manager for WOMAN, Inc.

 As Vice Chair of Under One Roof, Troy will leverage his wealth of experience to lead the development efforts for the organization, in addition to continued work on the marketing and communications committee.

 Tech industry analyst Rex Anderson and marketing/sales professional Maurice Kelly also joined Under One Roof’s board in February.
